挑戰矽光子物理極限 中正大學機械工程學系張國恩教授獲哥倫布計畫肯定

「受限於物理極限,在矽晶片上做出發光光源幾乎是不可能的事!」
多年鑽研矽光技術的中正大學前瞻製造系統頂尖研究中心、機械工程系教授張國恩,近期以突破矽光子物理極限為目標,計畫開發能整合到矽晶片的雷射光源,讓半導體晶片不再只有使用電訊號才能傳輸訊號,更因此獲得科技部「哥倫布計畫」高達4750萬的經費補助。未來張國恩將展開為期5年的研究,盼為國內半導體晶片產業帶來創新突破。
